Types of laminators
There are two main types of large format laminators available on the market: hot roll laminators, and cold roll laminators.
Heated roll laminators use heat ranging from 220°F to 300°F to activate the adhesive layer on the film, provide better results and is more durable.
Cold laminators use pouches with an adhesive that adheres to the item under pressure.
